Experience the thriving chess scene
As a member of Lymm Chess Club, you'll be part of a thriving local chess community. We're a growing club and a main facet of the local Warrington League. Enjoy playing throughout the summer in the South Manchester League, and meet us every Tuesday at the Spread Eagle. Young or old, whatever your ability, you are welcome. We're a special club in a special location, right in the heart of Lymm Village. Enjoy the peace and quiet, and the satisfying sound of the ticking clock.
Membership for everyone
We're looking for everyone – from beginners to grandmasters. Membership is £50 for the whole year, but can be paid monthly or quarterly. Membership isn't required for your first few visits to the club. Only when you feel that you want to join, do you need to become a member, and hopefully within three months of your first visit. The £50 pays for all the chess sets and clocks, and the payment to the Spread Eagle for use of their function room for the entire year. It also funds prizes for our junior tournaments.
